No they’re different from each other. Similar concept of eggs and tomato but in Shakshuka the eggs are cracked in left WHOLE to cook (there’s no scrambling) but in Nigerian egg stew the eggs are mixed separately first and then added into the mixture; mixed and scrambled after/as they cook. The spices are also different (more traditionally North African spices in Shaksuka and traditionally West African spices/seasoning in Egg stew)

Oh yeah and ours (Nigerian) is also usually eaten with Yam, Plantain or sometimes potato usually NOT bread (Shakshuka is usually eaten with pita or a type of bread from what I’ve seen). Some Nigerians do eat it with bread though (usually a Nigerian bread called Agege).
