@@doreendiamondtv but why I heard that caustic soda is very harsh and can irritate the skin that's why one will have to wait for 2 weeks or more for it to cure before using as safety but I don't really know how true is it??

Saponification occurs within about 3 days. For soap that’s used on the skin, curing it allows water to evaporate and it will last long, and will become more mild over time. But for laundry soap, you just need to allow it to saponify for a few days, it doesn’t need a full cure time since it’s used for washing clothes 😊
