How To Make Shampoo Ginger Flower Ribbon Lei

This video shows how to make this beautiful Shampoo Ginger Flower Ribbon Lei. Again, I got a message from one wonderful person on my Etsy store asking if I can make this lei. I learned making this lei long time ago from a nice lady, she is a lei maker in the Bay area, where I live. It's not hard to make, but this kind of lei use at least total 80 yards, or 40 yards each color, to make 38"-40" lei. It's a beautiful lei and actually pretty quick to make.
You can make this beautiful flower ribbon lei for graduation, birthday or special events. I hope this video can be helpful.

Push/pull plait--nice in palm, straw or straw plait too. You can add additional strands at the side so you can work it in rows also...

The first one she had the light and dark purple back to back as both strands. The second one, one strand is dark and the other strands are light. Hope that helps.

Hello! You are right!! We need more than an arm length for this lei. We need more than 3 yards, because it's spiral a little bit. Let's say prepare 5 yards. I like it longer better than too short. Thank you for watching and clarify this.
