I think we prepare a lot in the process of making notes. We comprehend better, our understanding of the topic increases manifold, we realize what's important and what's not. We are forced to brainstorm while making notes so we develop analytical skills; we remember better so memorization becomes easy. We filter out the best content as per the needs of the exam. And notemaking also improves our writing ability. So when we make notes we become better aspirants to clear the exam. If we outsource this job to ChatGpt then all this learning is lost. Chatgpt notes will be as good as a book, a material which eventually we will have to read and then memorize. So what's the point. We learn so much when we make our own notes. Technology is important but knowing when to use it and what to use it for is way more important. No disrespect to you Sir, but I think this is a waste of time.

let me tell you as far as i see the notes made by chatgpt here are quite basic and would not be much useful in actual examination. there are a lot of other useful ways to leverage chatgpt but this one is just a brutal shortcut which can be used only and only when you do not have notes for a subject just a few days before mains exam. @@UPSCprepIAS generally upsc does not ask such broad questions. for instance , it does not usually ask patriarchy in india but asks effects of patriarchy on middle class working women . what we need is some more specificity of inputs for chatgpt. it can be very useful to fill gaps in our existing notes like case studies or examples or scholarly perspectives in optional, especially for contemporary issues. let us take another example of a contemporary issue like increase in india's female labour force participation rate , we can use chatgpt to understand complex interplays in this issue like translation of this effect on female entreneurship or effect on care economy or on family or marriage. hope it helps.
