I am curious about the pour and the tapping of the mold while the pour is still liquid. When I bake cakes, I drop the pans just like you were doing, this makes the bubbles rise. Is this why you do that? As to the pour, is that to prevent bubbles? Also, have you tried tape that has a thicker glue? When I try this, I will let you know which tape I found to be best for me. Thanks so much for sharing, I sub/belled you!

Well usually if you make your own mold you use your own design otherwise you can go and find molds which already have the shapes you want in them or you could also find charms which are the shapes you want and just use them and make the mold around them like the video. You could call them cabachons (I think) or just resin charms? I dont know I probably didnt help.

Can you use food such as macaroons, Oreos, etc. since I make soap and I was hoping to find something easier than making clay bases?
@Yyyvesyea5 жыл бұрын
Lily Mooney logic would say that you should be able to, though I might recommend dipping them in a thin layer of latex beforehand to try and get rid of crumbs in your mould. For macaroon and cookie soaps, I think you might actually be able to get moulds online or use a combination of basic round casts (for the top part of a macaroon for example) and a quick drying grain-textured or whipped soap for the cream filling!
