I used litter to fill my home made speaker stands , works very well as a sound deadening material .

Wow, that is a lot of silicon. The honeycomb carboard didn't work out? Too light?

No, the honey paper is also brilliant, but this design is for use with very heavy equipment, thanks for commenting & watching 👍

@@tweakerman Got ya... That honeycomb plastic is brilliant dude. I was thinking, because of the cat-grit; You could use very cheap rubber(like) beads they use for decoration, instead of the silicon? Purely from an economic perspective? I do very much admire your work ethic towards this stuff. Always thinking about simpler, yet more effective. I have developed my own sound because of you man. Just saying....I wonder what you come up with next. Also; you think candle wax would work maybe, instead of the silicon? My brain is just sparking bro haha

Have you tried it? Honest opinion if worth doing? This is what people want to know👍
@tweakerman7 ай бұрын
Yes I've tried it, I don't just make these things up, I do a lot of building & testing, I only do the videos on the product that make a difference, there's lots & lots that don't come to fruition, thanks for commenting & watching 👍

I know and appreciate you doing them, all I’m asking is what improvements did you hear, soundstage, highs lows, how did the sound improve?
@tweakerman7 ай бұрын
The biggest impact is a lowering of the noise floor, when used in conjunction with a turntable & disc players. Placed under my sacd player I noticed the mids became cleaner & clearer, with better separation of instruments, the highs sparkled more & bass was slightly tighter. Remember isolation support is to try to make your equipment perform at its best, I hope this helps👍

Ian...just when I thought you couldnt be any more bonkers...out comes the cat litter ..... I hear the real audiophiles use clay based litter for a better mid-range... love this though

You can also use bird-sand, or dry sand in general.
