Rectifier distortion is a lot more "loose" and "spongey" compared to a 5150 or even a Marshall (DSL). You might as well go with the Peavey because if you have a Mesa, you're paying more for the name AND have to buy an EQ pedal for your chain to focus the attack of the amp.

it just not faster. the drum beat is at 8th notes while the guitar plays quarters. if can not sing you can you vocal synths. Synthv is fair realistic. ok it 16th at traditional global punk rock tempo.

With love-how do you perpetually look like a teenage boy? Vampirism?
"Skate Punk" was just high energy 70's and 80's punk that we thrashed to. Messy, lo-fi, guys who barely knew how to play, chainsaw sound, fast, and un-engineered, real independent shit, like Beasties punk days. Rebels, Man. This is manufactured, slap a label on it, corporate, big studio, cash out, shit. You late 90's, and beyond kids can keep it, trying to harness that real raw origin energy, by replication. You can't do it. It CAN'T be recreated.

@@pantsnjacket381 Well whatever it was, that mid 90s stuff, wasn't raw enough for me to consider it skate punk. But I'm an 80s kid. Different time. Witnessed the birth of alot of icons, and iconic tricks.
