311 does this in a lot of their songs, as well. Beautiful Disaster, Hostile Apostle, and Sunset in July to name a few

Love your videos man! Would love to see some tips on programing drums for dummies or something like that. I use garage band or logic drummer most of the time but it gets stale. I'm mainly a guitarist and don't know my way around drum programming

This is what Linkin Park does a lot on their first albums... the rhythm guitar usually serves as the basis for the rest of the melodies (usually an electronic melodic line that is in the foreground)

Hello! Great video (as always by the way). I have one question. At the beginning of the video there is an image of a neck on which you choose notes and write to you what kind of chord it turns out. What kind of site is this? Or is it a special program? I'm sorry for the stupid question, I've just never seen anything like this before. Thank you in advance!
@SugarpillProdКүн бұрын
Thanks! It's a website called Oolimo - I believe there's also an app version.

I've been trying to find more music that sounds like this (music that tends to be in a lot of anime intro sequences) but I had no idea what to even search for. I had no idea it was Japanese punk.
@SugarpillProd2 күн бұрын
Japanese indie, rock and certain styles of punk would all be good starts. It's as varied a scene as it is with most western countries, and those would be good starting points.

I Iisten to pop punk, but I feel like this doesn't sound aggressive enough to be punk. Yet again no hate

Fair enough. I don't see 'aggression' as a defining characteristic of all punk, just certain subgenres of it.
