Same here buddy. I never really tried super hard in ranked but I always find myself playing against plats in casual so I tried ranked again. And got to gold 1 super fast and eventually plat so I’m stoked to keep playing. I’ve been playing since release on and off but right now feels super fun to play again, but I’m skeptical about Diamond cuz of the hackers. I think plat is as far as I need to go 😂

Ik im not athieno lmao but I wanted to kinda give u a little advice u wanna push and be aggressive based off 3 factors sound, what info u get, and what utility your up against for example if your on attack and u plan to rush site and they have trap ops u wanna clear that utility where your coming in from and figure out where they are either from reliable teammate coms or drones u don't have to close rounds out really fast and peek everything all aggressive if u use info and sound to your advantage its very easy to predict and outplay people in a aggressive but smart manner u just gotta position yourself right if u play enough and have alot of map knowledge it gets easier over time playing

@@iiryuu4091 U will get better trust me it just takes time u might feel like your not getting better some days but u just gotta have that good mindset and confidence when going into a game and don't look down on yourself for doing bad in a game u done what u could do u just gotta analyze what your doing wrong and try to not make those same mistake again and that just comes down to how much u play it takes most people a couple thousand hrs of play time before they are that player they wanna be even myself I made and make alot of mistakes and i have like 1000 hrs played like there's times when I was like if I could've killed that guy or not peeked we probably would've had the momentum to win the round or game for example and when u reflect on mistakes and look back at it like that u start believing in yourself more and getting better and having the confidence think of it as constructive criticism but to yourself when u die and also u said your on controller I also play controller and thats all I've ever played I would just recommend grinding t hunt ik it sounds boring but ill just put on music and rock t hunt for like a hour or more a day and I challenge myself alot as well like i will use boss g or a dmr or even a pistol and walk around trying to one tap all the terrorists but u don't have to do it that much tbh like probably 10-15 mins with your favorite gun until u feel your warmed up would be good but I've realized I've had better reaction time and better aim when I play t hunt personally and im able to one tap players more vs when i just go in without warming up and playing t hunts and also try to aim head lvl more if u struggle with crosshair placement and I would also recommend changing your FOV settings as well that also helps with your reaction time in gun fights I think 80-90 is where u would want it depending on how big of a TV or monitor u play on and how close u are I personally use 90 it might take a little getting used to since it effects your sensitivity tho but good luck ik u can u do it also watch how athieno positions himself like he puts himself in spots where hes able to get angles on people pushing him but also has alot of cover behind solid parts of the map and how he sets up sites he really breaks everything down but it u will learn all that more and more with time I wish u luck

@@bullet-sm5gd aye I appreciate you for the advice fr, I been watching other people I wanna get a smoother sense I usually run 84 FOV so it’s nice and smooth but I’m tryna find the comfortable sense for me and I should start grinding T hunt but idk… my 5 stack always goes for the same sight set ups instead of tryna switch it up for example if we get fragged out on a sight set up they don’t try to switch it up yk and it never turns out good for us because we’re consistently going into overtime with most the players 😭 rn I’m low Gold 2 with a 1.0 kd but on my main I got a .8 😭 I’m tryna find the right sense before I run ranked on my main feel me but most the time I do down talk myself which is something I do gotta work on but I appreciate you for your insight bro thank u

@@iiryuu4091 np bro it's a hard game to get the hang of and I used to be like that running the same site set ups I've realized that u need to be unpredictable and think like a attacker like u gotta ask your self what would I do if I was attacking this while defending what angles would I hold what door ways will I go through and for your sense I would find one u can aim decent with and grind t hunt and get the muscle memory going it might take some time to get the muscle memory down especially on controller since movement is so limited its not as precise as mnk but t hunt improves aim imo and reaction time and that in turn helps u get wins and keep a good k/d bc I see a drop in k/d when I don't play t hunt I can go from a 1.2 k/d to a 1.0 or .9 even when I decide to be lazy

Tips for improving aim on console? I’m level 175, played on and off since operation health, and my biggest weakness to this day is not winning the gunfights I need to. Any advice other than “lots of t-hunt” and “play more”?

Not going to pretend like I'm crazy good anymore but I hit diamond like x2 on na and eu PS4. For me I never had crazy good aim and the higher you go the more mnk so I'd say focus on map knowledge and by that I mostly mean being in the right place at the right time and holding things prematurely also including utility use especially if your like a smoke player

i bought the kingdom freak rings that go around your joy sticks and that helped a lot with having steady aim. not as good for flicks, but that’ll get better with practice over time

I've played this game on and off since release. The basics stay the same. 1 learn operator abilities and counters 2 learn map layouts (common set ups, common angles, etcetera) 3 train your aim (staying near head height and not mag-dumping) 4 pay attention to sound cues. (Breaches touching the wall before activation, crouching/peaking,) 5 TEAMWORK is the FOCUS of this game. 6 Try and keep a clear mind, getting tilted does nothing but cloud your judgement. It's okay to be mad, but move on.

Go into shooting range and try to get familiar with all the recoil patterns and which guns are good at what ranges. Also don’t forget to warm up in deathmatch, t hunt etc.

For being insecure abt your voice i totally relate, but how to break this is kinda hard - you just gotta go for it and turn your mic on - you only have to say like one or two callouts to get used to it and trust me eventually it gets a lot easier, ive started speaking a lot more now (also, most ppl wont say anything abt your voice, im sure ppl will respect you for making callouts at all in solo-q lol so thats good) hope this helps
