@@sorcerysoap That sounds awesome! I currently follow the Soaping for Beginners page and Mad Mica's FB groups. It looks like I have a new group to join! I love seeing so many talented and artistic creators in one space using such an unusual medium to bring beauty into the world. Most especially during these ugly times, seeing the amazing soaps, that entrepreneurs and hobbyists alike, manage to create just makes me feel so uplifted! My entire timeline is soap bars, lol! At this point, I have scrimped and saved, studied and researched, and now I think I am ready to create my first loaf. Thank you so much for being so inspiring, and sharing your hard earned knowledge and creations with us all, and encouraging everyone to create, to find their own style, and to not be afraid to try something new!

@@courtneygraham6719 If it offers any comfort, I began soap making the same way. I watched and read for a year, working at a job I hated to make enough money to buy soap materials. I'm so glad I could help on your journey. It feels so much better to have someone in your corner as you walk your path, or it does for me, anyway. :D I agree, these are dark times and to find a little cheer anywhere is hopeful.

There is a much easier way to do that. I have the same extruder and I do the same up to the point of once it’s out. Then I just let them sit out on a tray and dry out for a couple of days. Then all you have to do is crunch them up with your hands they break into tiny little pieces.

Thank you for thinking of me. I have done it that way too, however, I didn't like the non-uniform results. AND, that way is perfectly acceptable too. :D

Wow! I just made soap sprinkles yesterday! and I made pretty much the same way, excepted the equipment you used haha. I didn't have the equipment, I had to roll all of them to the small sized string first. 😁 thanks for sharing!

How do you store them until you are ready to use?

That's a great question. I store my tops, sprinkles etc in cupcake holders or large open containers in a drawer. An egg carton will serve as well.

What do you use to get the brown color?

Cocoa powder, micas and brown oxide. Hope this helps. :)

Sorcery Soap wow!!.... I feel like I'm getting a message back from a celebrity 😊 I used trial by fire mica, it washes off of my hands, but I'm concerned about possible bleed if I use it for sprinkles, thank you for your response 😄

@@mommom6573 Trial by fire doesn't bleed so I can't imagine the top of the frosting would bleed with Trial by fire sprinkles on top.

@@mommom6573 I understand about the bleeding part... Have you seen my Cardinals soap? I put red cardinals on top a white soap and didn't have bleeding. Is it possible you have used too much red? I have also made candy canes with trial by fire red, which is wrapping red with white and they are still fine after a year.
