That was a brill video and explained a lot. I have made quite a few projects but you have answered a few questions I had particularly about the disposal of pickle and the copper coating on the brass. A big thumbs up xx.

I do not have an ETA. The best thing to do is go to the page for the kit and add yourself to the notification list. www.beaducation.com/p/3719-metal-stamping-tools-soldering-starter-kit

I don't know if you still answer questions on this video, but here goes... 😁 I've soldered electronic components with a soldering iron, why do we need a torch to solder jewelry? Can't a soldering iron connect, say, two ends of a jump ring? Just curious!

Hi! So glad you found our classes! You probably noticed that all of the classes and techniques we teach (and solder we carry in our shop www.beaducation.com) use high temp (torch) soldering. We don't advocate using soldering irons for jewelry making. Soldering irons are used with a softer solder and the bond it forms is not nearly the strength or durability of soldering with easy, medium or hard silver solders and a torch.

I am afraid of setting the house on fire. Approximately 5 years ago my house did catch on fire. Not to any fault of my own. I still haven't completely gotten over my losses. 😔😔😔

I’m not afraid...I’m a man...So I can’t be afraid of jewelry and girl things. But it’s also true that some of the best teachers are girls. So I guess I’ll admit it...I want to learn to make jewelry...lol.
