Ingredients:
300 grams soya chaap (about 5 soya chaap sticks), cut into tikka size pieces, 1-1½ inch in size
Oil to fry
2½ tablespoons oil
1 stick cinnamon, 2-inches in length
2 black cardamom pods, lightly crushed
5 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
3 cloves
2 bay leaves
200 grams onion (about 2 medium onions), finely chopped
1½ teaspoons red chilli powder, Kashmiri, or to taste
1½ teaspoons dried ginger powder (sonth)
120 ml yogurt (½ cup), lightly beaten
¾ teaspoon salt or to taste
2 teaspoons fennel powder (saunf)
¾ teaspoon garam masala powder
