Excellent tutorial. The extension has many more features than expected.

Ever since Luminar gave a release date of the new Panorama extension, I went out to get several photos to make several panos. I would almost give it a 10, but it falls just short when stitching grassy areas. I am sure they will improve this very soon. The only 2 programs that can do this is PTGui and Hugin. Photoshop and Lightroom still fall short of Luminar, so I will give it an 8+, not bad for its first version.

Thanks for sharing! Good to know. Are those programs available for Mac also? I may test them.

Thank you Darlene. This was very informative, and yes, I think that I'm going to enjoy panorama photography now that I have this extension.

@@DigitalPhotoMentor BTW, what is the reason when you export the file, the size is highlighted in a red square and you cannot save unless you reduce the size on the long end.
@DigitalPhotoMentor Жыл бұрын
@@peterleo16 I didn't get any such message or red square. I literally just exported one over 30k pixels.

@@DigitalPhotoMentor My file size dimension was 17001 X 2891 under Actual Size. I went into Resize-Dimension and changed the long end to 15000 and the short end auto change to 2551. And this allowed me export and save the pic as JPG.

Thanks Darlene. I hope to photograph three adjacent buildings but the street is too narrow to back away. Using Neo's pano and 30% overlap, can I shoot walk to the next building and shoot again, etc. or must all photos be taken from a central lock down position?
@DigitalPhotoMentor Жыл бұрын
No you can do the walk thing. But take more images so they overlap enough. Don't take just three

I have Pano images cannot be exported because the file size is too large. The software just would not allow it, so what can be done to export such large file such as 20187x6075 in size.

Not sure what to say it worked for me

Hi Darlene do you or does anyone know if you can stitch a 360 equirectangular panorama image. A full 360 image with this extension?
@DigitalPhotoMentor Жыл бұрын
Not at this time no

Can Luminar Neo stitch a three row panorama? Can you please do a video on how a three row panorama is done. Thank you.
@DigitalPhotoMentor Жыл бұрын
Yes you can - I showed how to do that in this video with the Lisbon skyline. Same way - just shoot them, and drop them into the extension.

I have never been able to stitch a Spherical Panorama in Luminar Neo firstly it wont stich correctly unless I select cylindrical during the process, and the most frustrating part is while I can change the sky in NEO when I view the panorama in Kuula or any preview software there is a massive stitch line. Even when the panorama is constructed within Luminar neo. I am using 22 pictures taken with my DJI drone. The stitching feature is ok, but Sky replacement or any enhancement post stiching does not currentlt function.
@DigitalPhotoMentor2 ай бұрын
I'm not I understand what you are trying to do. What is a spherical pano?
@DigitalPhotoMentor2 ай бұрын
Do you mean like a 360? That's correct if so, they haven't included that
@robcallighan3455 Жыл бұрын

I noticed Pan Stitching leaves out a bunch of images. It left out the sky images and just processed the horizon images. I did the sky images by themselves and it processed them. Then added the horizon level ones....it ignored the sky. Maybe a bug......
@DigitalPhotoMentor Жыл бұрын
It may have a hard time if not enough overlap

Tried your link for the extension. Unfortunately Skylum page wanted to sell entire Neo program. No place for just extension. Believe your link is wrong. I was able to get into Skylum and purchase just extension via other links. Sorry, I tried.
@DigitalPhotoMentor Жыл бұрын
Which link? One is for new buyers, don't use that one if you already have Neo. There is a different one for existing customers.

Just export it as usual. Not sure what you mean?
