How to Make Sublimation Blanks with the Glowforge Aura

You can make sublimation blanks for your projects with a laser like the Glowforge Aura. I am sharing several materials that I tried along with which failed and which worked. You can use this information to start cutting custom sublimation blanks for all of your craft projects. I am using this technique with an SVG file for cutting and a PNG file for printing on my sublimation printer.

Would that paper masking help to protect acrylic? I am considering either the glow forge Aura or the XTool M1. I would like to see more laser cutting videos.

Yep you should use the paper masking on most things you cut. I am working on a free buying guide for your first laser so stay tuned for that!

How do you know when the filters are full?

From what I have read, it stops working or working well. As soon as mine are, I will do a video of course on everything I learn! I would like to experience it first before doing a video on it.

What is the best sublimation printer for the money? Then can you print a photo of anything and apply it to anything using modge pod? Thank you

You need a polyester sublimation coating. Not mod Podge.

Can you use cricut iron on in the glorwforge aura

No you cannot. It is made from PVC and is toxic to cut with a laser.
