How to make sure you don’t have issues with wheel spacers!

The R56 turbo Mini gets some wheel spacers. It’s a short video but I wanted to share some helpful information. Hopefully this will help make sure you can use wheel spacers on your vehicle safely for as long as you want or need them. Can’t wait to install the coilovers now and get that fitment right, on lowered suspension and sitting flush.

For the 15mm spacer I needed 43mm lug studs.

Thank you. Tire size is currently 205/45r17. It’s about time for tires, so I’ll be switching to a 215/45r17. Stock 17 inch wheels for now.

My set had longer bolts, but those don't fasten. Should I try even longer bolts if available?

What size spacer and what length bolts?

@@recklesslyfestyle Spacers are 20 mm and bolts that came with the set 50 mm. I guess I try with 60 mm bolts.

28mm is the stock bolt length. With a 20mm spacer you should only need 48mm. Do you have stock or aftermarket wheels?
