First need to check whether you can receive message from your email. You can check this through the plugin WP Mail SMTP. Once you know that you can receive the emails then follow the steps as shown in the video..Thank you katrinah for making this video.

Hi! Katrinah, Thank you so much for you video! In order for me to get the Contact Form 7 to work properly, I had to Delete it and start over. I know for a fact that it was installed correctly the first time, because I had my hosting company look into it. With your help, I began again, and now I am receiving the emails into my account! Yay! Hello katrinah. thanks for the tutorial. I also used a webmail where I can possibly receive emails from my contact form 7 setup, however it isn't working properly. The email does not go to the webmail like what you have on this tutorial. I followed this guide but it wont work at all. I use webmail "WorkSpace" that runs in godaddy. I also anticipated that the email should forward to gmail, after sits on the webmail

I struggled for hrs trying to activate my contact form. I couldn't get access to an edit link to change the field. I now realize theme I'm using came with a crappy contact form that doesn't allow access unless upgraded to a paid pro version. You're awesome. Your video is awesome. Thanks for sharing that info!

You have to create from Email Address on Your Hosting Server. in short From Email Address should exists and have domain name e.g [e-mail]

Hi Karina it is possible that why its not working my contact form is. Maybe it is possible that the problem is hosting? because some of hosting support if the email function is disable on the site because many hosts disable email by default. It is possible Karina?

If you have a website being made from a Wordpress template and it incorporates a contact form, and you have on MS365 email from GoDaddy to receive the comments and questions through the contact form, you have the site's associated email account set up on your cell phone and computer through Outlook, but the test emails are not being received, is it because the site is not yet live? You will have to use WP SMTP plugin to make it work. I also had the same problem but currently fixed by the plugin.

I have attempted to add contact form 7 several times on both a mac and a pc. I get the form menu in the side bar but when I click any on the items such as contact I get the following error Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_rest_url() in /home/revlinda/public_html/dev/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/admin/admin.php on line 304 I have deleted it and reinstalled it several times. Thanks, Katrinah for your awesome video. 99% of it was perfect, but I was still not receiving emails when I used your settings. Email settings are so confusing to me! I use Gmail for my personal email, so I set the TO box on the MAIL tab of the contact form to my gmail address instead of the Wordpress website email. Then I started receiving emails at my Gmail account. Thanks again and I hope that helps anyone else who reads this!

my research led me to conclude that you can't just use any email but it has to be an email that is "hosted" or related to your url. ie our website is DHXX.org so my my email would have to be [e-mail] or something like that i can't just use a gmail account or yahoo account even though we use that for our organization currently ie you have to pay for hosted email or create your email server to host the emails.
