Made this except I ran out of milk so I used one cup milk and one cup egg nog. I cooked potatoes for 70 minutes at 350 and the potatoes were still hard, so I rapped them and boiled until they were soft.I used a hand blender. Wife loved the pie. Great recipe.

Have you tried browning the butter first before adding to pie filling? Game changer. Also, it seems the pie is stringy maybe use blender to break down potatoes and butter then add rest ingredients.

I just innocently passed by your channel last night, and was like 😱👀👀👀 you are amazing!!! fell in love instantly that is with your cooking, and baking 😉 Love your recipe, it's almost like mine, but can I leave just one tip it's good to get the strings out the sweet potatoes, I use a kitchen aide to mix then I go in with a hand mixer to get the strings out to make a even more smooth texture, the kitchen aide whip attachment is to large the strings don't seem to attach to it, I have to mix about 5-6 times to remove the strings before adding all my ingredients, just a little nugget hope you don't mind 😁
