How to Make Sweet Potato Smoothie Creamy and Yummy
In this video, I will show you how to make sweet potato smoothie that is creamy and healthy. This smoothie is easy to make, sweet and satisfying. You will need some cooked sweet potato, milk, yogurt, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sweet potato smoothie is a great way to use up leftover sweet potatoes or to enjoy this nutritious root vegetable in a different way. Sweet potatoes are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber that have many health benefits, such as:
- They are high in beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in your body. Vitamin A supports your eye health, immune system, and skin health.
- They contain potassium, which may help lower your blood pressure and prevent heart disease.
- They have iron, which is essential for red blood cell production and oxygen transport.
- They provide fiber, which can improve your digestion, lower your cholesterol levels, and keep you feeling full longer .
To make sweet potato smoothie, you will need to:
- Peel and chop a medium sweet potato and cook it until soft. You can boil it, steam it, roast it, or microwave it. Let it cool slightly before using it in the smoothie.
- Add the cooked sweet potato, milk and condensed milk (optional) and some ices to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. You can adjust the amount of milk depending on how thick or thin you want your smoothie to be.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass or a bowl and enjoy it cold or at room temperature.

I tried your sweet Potato smoothie my way for two. I did not use the sweet syrup that you did but a Vegan sweet coffee creamer. The results were great and the taste was very good. I used unsweetened Almond milk and water. That is a very filling smoothie.

Half of the video is for steaming the yam. How about a text on the screen " steam your yam", at most 3 seconds. Done.
