Your videos on jewelry are awesome. You take your time to show us slowly how to make the different styles. Like the way you explain everything to us, you do not rush, from tools to all materials needed, especially for me that I am just a beginner. Thank you 🙏

I adore this design and when I first started playing with wire, I tried it… and failed miserably lol you have such great control over your wire and make it look SO easy lol I tried a few more times over the couple years I’ve been dabbling (very off and on, sometimes I’ll go 4-5 months without touching it and then I half feel I have to re-learn how to do everything!) anyway.. I’ve made more stuff in the last couple of months than I ever had before, and decided to give it another go… happy to report it actually turned out this time!! Though my pseudo weaves holding on the spiral are a bit messy, I’m still pleased it actually turned out :) gunna try again and aim for a more polished piece but so glad I kept trying! Thanks for all the beautiful tutorials!!

Beautiful, earrings andI want to thank you for sharing your beautiful talent. I agree totally with the swirls and the wire issue. I’ve only been wrapping for about 2 years but at first I struggled with swirls and I happened on some aluminum wire and found it was so much easier to work with plus it’s super cheap. I also found that Parawire is softer than others, don’t know why I just find it flows easier. This may help some who is struggling with shaping. Thank you again and Happing Wrapping to all you lovelies, Peg

Looking forward to making these. I think I'll make sure the frame is closer to the bead though I think it will look better. Has anyone tried it without a hole in the teardrop? I wonder if putting a swirl on both sides would hold it in place. I might try that too. Taping it would be a must when wrapping it then to hold it together.

I am laughing at myself. Loved the video and learned a lot, but the most amazing thing I learned is how to open the loop on the earring wire! Lol. I have been making earrings for over fifteen years and feel really dump I didn’t figure that out years ago! I use jump rings all the time. Same concept. 🤦♀️🤪😁 But seriously thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I hope to make some pretty things today.

Love this design and love watching you work. Question - since you are using dead soft wire do you do anything with the finished piece to harden the wire so it keeps it lovely shape?

I usually buy them on Etsy, actually! Just search for "teardrop pear briolette" and you should find lots of options. I've also heard good things about Fire Mountain Gems.

Hi Christelle! Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! Here is a chart converting from gauge to mm diameter which you may find helpful: www.firemountaingems.com/resources/encyclobeadia/charts/6404

What exactly do you put in on Rio grande to find the 20 and 24 gauge wire ?
@FantasiaElegance6 жыл бұрын
"silver filled round soft wire" should bring it up for you, or you can paste 105352 into the search bar; that's the item code. There's one listing for the wire, and you can select which gauge you want from there.

Love the jewelry and your tutorials, but a couple times, when I needed to see something, the hands and piece would drop below the film frame. 😢 I'm sure it's hard to see around the camera, but I found something that may eliminate the issue. I found it At a local discount store. It's a phone (I'm sure a camera would work too) hands-free device designed to hang on your neck and hold the phone ou5 front, BUT it's on a wire frame that can be bent to hold your phone on or above a table. It cost me $12CA (about $8US). Thanks again for sharing your videos! They're much appreciated. ☺️I'm going to go find the bail and earwire making tutorials now!
@Shelby02216 жыл бұрын
I liked the tutorial, although at some points your hands are out of camera range making it difficult to see exactly what you are doing
@FantasiaElegance6 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that! It's hard to see what I'm doing through the camera screen so sometimes my hands drift as I'm peering around the side... definitely something I'm working on though! Thanks for watching!
