The most important thing for me is how to make second part of the first drop interesting, also how to make second drop different without felling that another track started.
@joshsowers58564 жыл бұрын
A lot of times you just have to take away and add elements for tech house but consistency is key. Example: Losing It - FIS(Chris Lake)HER First drop (15 seconds in) - Big saw, kick, bass, clap, open hat. Second half - weird beeping thing comes in Second drop (1:16) - Right after the first drop, the high end bass sound comes in to build on the same rhythm as the bassline to keep it consistent. Second drop is literally the first but with that sound added and no big saw right away. Beeping thing comes in again on the second part. Third drop (2:04) - Oh look its the second drop exactly but with the big saw this time! Second half after big saw removes the bass and starts another build Fourth drop (3:20) - Wow the third drop again! With a more exaggerated build to start though

In-the-style-of tuts always motivate me more to click on the thumbnail than a simple "creating a tech house track" would :D I wouldn't even mind having a similar video in a couple of months on the same genre, but other artists, to refresh this knowledge. I always write down your tips in a Word document, along with other youtube channels (Julien Earle, Yalcin Efe, Zen World,...) to hopefully someday read them again when I find the time :) The thing I would LOVE to see (and hasn't been shown on the other channels either) is a tutorial on how to make the beautiful combination of techno with orchestral music, e.g. Worakls - By The Brook / Detached Motion or just very melodical techno (N'to , Joachim Pastor, etc.) . For some reason, the sound design sounds so polished and pure, and I would die to find out how they produce such heavenly sounds.
