I’ve got 64, but unless you’re loading in loads of samples into something like Kontakt, you’ll be fine. I’d go 24 to future proof a bit

1:24 Will your inspiration is amazing and I understand you made this "quickly" for the video but you should unwarp your Kick sample. You turned from 128bpm to 148 and your sample didn't mooves. In this case it's an happy accident because it's sounds great but Kicks shots samples needs to be unwarped (in my opinion) Excellent video Cheers

Indeed not - this is pretty advanced for beginners. First thing I would suggest is just try to create a 4 or 8 bar loop with drums, bass, chords - or even try and replicate a loop from one of your favourite tracks

Sorry mate, this isn't techno. It's the new bollocks that the two wannabe djs you've mentioned play. Techno doesn't have melodies or vocals, definitely not singing vocals. Drums, repetitive sequences, squelchy bass lines, yes. But not this nor what they play.
