I just want stopwatch mode on Payload back, nothing is more infuriating than having to fight against 6 engies stacking on Frontier or Swiftwater last. Even if I switch to medic with stock uber, I rarely find a competent soldier or demo that focuses on taking down the nest.

I’d change autobalance so it asks everyone on the team at once to see if any volunteers want to join the enemies. If someone says yes, they get selected to join the enemies and that’s the end of it. If everyone says no, then it just selects the best player to move.

this is more of tf2 in general than just casual but I would like it if they changed the default fov to 90. Newer players might not know how to change their fov or even know what fov is, so they're stuck with 70.

I love the idea of a community map rotation where every month or so they give you a checkmark in casual where you can play on community-made maps that are not officially in TF2, then the best received map of each month is officially added to the game the following month.

showing the loosing team score is a great idea. I have that plugin on my community servers and it really helps the loosing team feel like they actually accomplished something. I think it sort of breaks the idea that the loosing team is worthless for the match (it isn't, the match only exists because there's a winning and a loosing team) and that's very healthy to encourage good sportsmanship.

Hi Squ1rrelly! I was wondering if you could please release some kind of follow-up to your SCM profit tips? I've been trying to flip items but I could only gather up 5 dollars, which is not enough to buy unusuals and stuff like you showed in your videos. I want them to make a separate account status for when accounts that are bot related start showing up, called clown mode. When this is enabled on the accounts that were considered cheating in the map that was associated with the vote have a no damage attack like an airsoft or paintball gun that does no damage and stay in queue mode until a human player fills their spot. This would have a 24-hour cooldown like the current map ban in place but would be easier to connect accounts that are bots and need to be removed. Further players that are harassed and put in this mode would still be able to play any other map server just fine and the map status would disappear after 24-hours. I think that would be the best way to remove the bot problem since those bots would slowly be stuck outside the game more and more.

I’d like an option where you can party up with your teammates at the end of the match and the ability to see who in the scoreboard is partying with whom. I’d also prefer that when we vote to play in the same map again, the game doesn’t make us load into said map because we’re already in it. It’s just a waste of time loading into the same map and it’d be faster if the match just resets when the game ends.

amazing list! my personal wish is pretty controversial and not much of a casual change rather than a game change but i think it would be awesome if the halloween items were available either at: A) The majority of the playerbases 10PM-12AM every day (while this seems short i think it’s perfect and would still represent the rarity of seeing these cosmetics) or B) Active on the weekends. i know a lot of people dislike the idea, but i love the cosmetics and it sucks only being able to wear them about once or twice a month. It would also effect trading in what I THINK would be a nice boom. If anyone has any input, please share! 😁

Return that option where you can choose to get autobalanced and fix it so you cant get autobalanced in last minute or two. Nowdays, you, who carried the whole team, get autobalanced in last 30 seconds or less for few xp. Not that important ofc.

Yeah, I feel like the current system is more like a server clearing system. One team loses once, 6 people leaves, 3 gets autobalance, they leave and then others leave because the match is half empty.

idea make the level system give reward for higher level to discourage rage quit and make auto balance actually worthwile to stay. rewards should be things like stranges and ref and reaching milestones give a key and at the highest level give a unusal altho more tryhards will appear

I'm a bit surprised you mentioned a community map pool and barely touched on removing random crits. What's the deal with that? You seriously think it's been talked to death? If the tf2 dev(s) consider the weight of the community's disapproval of random crits and Gabe Newell says "no", obviously nothing can be done, but why should we give up on pushing for random crits removal? They only have to set it off by default, and if a few weird players like random crits, they can add them into community servers.

I can just add that I left TF2 before the bot crisis because of random crits. The better I got at the game, the more often it was random crits that killed me. Consequentially, the more disappointed or even annoyed I got when I killed someone else with them. Considering negativity bias, it seems damn obvious to me what ought to be done.
