I think they came out to be like 24” but you could cut it down to be as short as you want. You would just need to re-drill the bolt holes for the trucks

This looks awesome. Funny enough the skateboard Bart has on my key chain has an all purple underside of the deck, including trucks and wheels. Yet the griptape is still green but with a purple middle stripe. Now obviously from a manufacturing reason its just easier to do it this way for moulding and mass production. I like to think of it as Bart simply has multiple boards and just has a very specific taste in regards to his setup with slight variations per board. My rambling aside, I loved the project and video you made.

At my local smyths, they sell skateboards that have no concave and have shitty wheels and trucks but they cost around £12.99 (or 15 usd) so im going to make it into an old school shaped board and use my proper trucks and bearings, as well as my cruiser wheels i took off a cheap penny board. this will be a fun project

The basis I see is that it's a prolonged cemetery headstone but making it from a popsicle common board was a good idea for concave & kicktail for reinforcement 😎 like many to all 80's boards sold today have modern concave 😎 Edit: I bought a Lozenska 26 inch skateboard 🛹 destined for pets but it resembles the Bart Simpson skateboard nearly 💯 but not 💯 (rounded corners at the tail)yet close enough.They came with 6mm risers I added another 6mm risers & use Sector 9 Nineballs wheels 61mm 78a and 32 Contact Patch WORKS THE BEST with these 😎💯

I did build another one of these boards for a client and I used 1/2" risers on it to avoid wheel bite. If you're using regular size wheels 55mm or smaller you probably don't need risers

Awesome! Mine came out to be 25.5" long, because I wanted to utilize the factory bolt holes in the deck. From the forward most bolt holes the board has a 3" nose. Good luck let me know if I can answer any more questions!

I watched a lot of episodes trying to catch glimpses of Bart's board and the variations that I saw where either purple or pink wheels, and in the newer seasons his board is brown instead of green. Something I would do differently is make the orange grip tape strip wider, when I went to tighten the hardware, the grip tape wanted to come back off... Little detail

Iron Gordon - Art I’ll definitely keep the strip size in mind for my build, in my honest opinion I believe his wheels were always meant to be pink however in the earlier seasons it was harder for them to nail a hot pink color that he has hence why certain episodes they look purple and others look brighter, much how the family car in older episodes is a much much darker pink than it is now
