I always put a large dish towel over top of the mixer when adding flour and such when it first mixes. This holds in all the flour and it doesn’t make a big mess as much!

That's a great cake you made. I'm sure he'll remember the fun birthday cakes you made for him. I was thinking this would also be great to put a dump truck or back hoe on top for a different theme, if you have a little one into heavy equipment. you could put the crushed cookies in the dump truck too. :) Great job!
