Hi pal this is Reda Very interesting this hand made eggfood- you can add broccoli as well no? I just want to make you remember that’s better to use garlic in liquid version since the natural version or powder version is not good at all for health when used in the long or middle term( gives anemia since destroy blood cells…. The immunity will go down and many diseases can happen.some birds can have hearts attack with sudden deaths) You will tell me why- it just because when eating the birds will chewing food which will transform garlic to toxic food but for liquid version there is no chewing-that’s all pal ) ( you can find and read serious studies about it - available on google)

*How are you giving the black spot prevention that you had in eggfood in previous video? *Did you omit the cooked egg here? I left a message on the last video about eggfood saying I was advised against mixing cooked and dried egg in the same dish. *Do you not feed fresh boiled eggs ever? This eggfood recipe seems like it would be good all day with no egg spoilage. I get tired of replacing egg throughout the day and if I'm gone, can't add more so they rely on dry eggfood. Thanks so much for making these wonderful instructional videos!

Thanks for watching Eric, it’s simple yet effective! I found by adding the wild seed it encourages the birds to take it, especially if they haven’t been fed it in a while. Also useful for getting chicks weaned encouraging them to peck it

Thank you for the video. I had a question. My canaries have three-day-old chicks, and many male canaries are ready to mate, and they hit my female. She sleeps in the nest. When the female wants to go to the nest, she hits her because she killed the chicks in the first nest. I don't want to be like that anymore with a slow mating female

Thanks for the video! 2 questions, I was told not to add apple because this wil mold and go bad quickly. What is your thought on this? And will the pieces of eggshell not harm the young birds when being fed?

I’ve never had a problem when adding apple, I think in the blended form mixed with other veg helps keep it moist and hasn’t been a problem. The egg shell is very finely crushed, almost into a powder than in shards so has never caused any problems with even the smallest of finch chicks

Or just avoid eggshells for the newborns and give them Calcium Powder to be safe.

@@Blackroastbirds yes that can be done too, only thing I found with calcium powder is it can clump up sometimes when moist in the egg food
