Any type of French toast is a must. I prefer to deep fry mine. But this dish looks amazing!! I would have never thought of using Hawaiian rolls.

I want to thank you for your very specific instructions. You include the heat level, whether it be on the stovetop or the oven. Some channels forget that for sure. Also, how long something is to simmer or cook. Not all of us are chefs, just old people trying to cook a great dish or meal. You are very gracious and friendly as well. Someone raised you right. Fantastic recipe. Here's a thought. It is indeed very "unhealthy" so I could never eat it as a main breakfast course unless I could follow up with angioplasty...lol... but I could see making this and serving it as an occasional dessert in small portions with maybe even a small scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.🙂
