Yum. I bet the flavors are awesome! The Monte Cristo I used to eat in Vernon Diner in CT, they would do challah bread French toasts and then put the sandwich together. They serve it with pancake syrup. My favorite plate there.

Oh wow, I was born and raised in East Haven CT! I have had my share of delicious Monte Cristo sandwiches. I really miss all the great diners in New England and New York. Challah bread would have been a great choice, I think it holds up better. I would love doing more favorite diner food videos. Thanks for your feedback! 😊

Why not just make the sandwich then cut the crust off that way your edges are even. This was so confusing it makes it look complicated the way you did it. Maybe it’s just me.

Good point, after starting the sandwich I realized I forgot to make sure everything was even. Your suggestion would have certainly been better. All in all, the sandwich was yummy. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.
