Oh I'm not sure never happened with me, try using a different font or spacing the characters out of creatings the text style inside of your chosen text from scratch

Hey man thank you for helping me I've watched other videos like finzars one video of how to make like a gaming thumbnail. But I have some problems when trying to delete a background with a character. When I use the object selection tool for it automatically delete the background from the character my photoshop just crashes and when I use the quick selection tool or magic wand the background eventually gets in the way of me cutting the character from the background. Please let me know what to do thank you Joseph.

Okay well this looks like an annoying bug to deal with so if you'd like you can use the pen tool just click p and draw a mask around your character then right click and click make selection set the feather to 0 and you are good to go
