A lot of people like to argue that "They Kidnapped my Son on Christmas" isn't a real Christmas movie, but the real fans know it is because it doesn't just take place on Christmas, the holiday is an integral part of the plot. The character has to contend with the always-frustrating issue of having your birthday near a holiday, which people like to use to lump gifts together - which is a central issue in why he was kidnapped in the first place. I don't want to spoil anything though, so I recommend checking it out if you get the chance.
