Nice strumming pattern thanks Graham. That’s one to try although to me, it seems like a head pat and tummy rub! I’ll practice it though 😊

Thanks Bevie....it's just practice like everything and something I sort of fell into doing when I mainly played the Baritone uke and used hitting just the top string to give a bit of bass to the group and help everyone stay together...it seemed to work..👍😊🎶🎵💕...happy strumming...💖💕

At the moment I have no bass player in our group so always looking for ways of adding that little bit of bass which makes such a difference and as you say, helps keep everyone in time! Great advice Graham thank you!❤

@@carolemousdell4444 ..thanks so much for your great comment Carole...we don't have a bass player either in Eagle Ukes so Roz's Baritone makes a huge difference the way she plays and I help out with hitting the Low G string to give a sound to hopefully keep everyone together....👍💖💕😘🎵🎶

That’s really good. I shall give it a try. Do you do any arpeggio tutorials? I can do some patterns but I can never work out which to put with which! Others just seem to know what fits but I really struggle! Like strumming I need practice I guess but guidance is good too!

@@theduffers1646 ...hi...I haven't done any tutorials on arpeggios as yet but may do so in future....to be honest it's not a topic that I've ever had come up.....I tend to concentrate on basic and more advanced strumming patterns and also finger picking techniques...💕🎵🎶😊

Hi Graham, I’m going to have nightmares tonight, dreaming:- “Roll, up, top, up, down, up, top. Especially if I try to sing as well. 🥴😱😴😵‍💫. I’m going to give it a go though. 🤔👍

@@cynthiajordan773 ..thanks so much Cynthia....I agree that by altering the standard way of strumming it makes things sound so much more interesting....it's a style I've developed over many years so it really is just down to lots and lots of practice and then things become second nature to do....but do have fun...👍😘💕🎵🎶💖

Thank you sir. I'm going to be retiring at end of this week. And I will be into my ukulele. I'm sure looking forward to learning how to play. You and your beautiful wife make it look easy. My wife played guitar. And was fairly good.

I pretty much just strum freestyle because I can't maintain anything consistent for very long and I can't count/keep time any way. So I just wing it!

...that's the best way to be Dave...if it sounds right it is right is my motto and most of all have fun. This was made ( along with the others in the series ) after being repeatedly asked how I play and you know me....always happy to help ( or annoy ) where I can....🤣😂🤣.
