Do you want to make the dance team? I know there are so many of you out there that want to make your dance studio's competition team or maybe you're auditioning for a college dance department.. Well, these are your tried and true dance audition tips!! I made this dance team audition survival guide because I know there are lots of you nervous nellies out there wanting to SHINE. I'm happy to help :) We are going over technique exercises for flexibility, pirouettes, and leaps. I also chit chat with you about how to perform and dance facials to wow the judges!! Just remember to be confident and keep your chin up.. YOU GOT THIS.

I'm 11 and my dance company audition is on Monday, my teacher has recommended me to try out so im suuuupeeer excited but nervous:)))) I'll edit this and tell u if I made it. Edit 1: I finished the audition and i think I did pretty good it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so don't worry! we will get the results either tommorow or the day after :) Edit 2: I MADE IT IN!! I'm SUPER excited and happy!!!! I hope this helped some people!

I have dance team tryouts this weekend! I have the routines learned, (since we have to learn the dance before the audition), but I just want some more technique and get my foot actually working. I have had a boot on for a fracture for the past four weeks, so I need to work the foot.

i have danced for ten years and i am watching this for my 11th tryouts. because my choreography i have to show the judges that but me on a team it is fast and out of my comfort zone ( the dance is for 12+ so yes that means the 17 year olds are doing it) and i videoed my self doing the dance and i look really bad so i am going to try and rely on some of these tips to get me on a high team.

I auditioned for other first time and made the pre team. At my studio the first time Auditoners usually get put onto a pre team so they get to know who you are, what your forte is and what you need to work on so when you auditon again the next year, you have a higher chance if making it.

Im scared for dance try outs but imma work hard because theres at least 50 girls trying out and like im not so advanced since i just started dancing in 8th grade and 9th grade i didnt know about try outs so i couldnt try out but now i am (My friend encouraged me in 7th and i said sure and it became a huge passion of mine and i really hope i make it i would love that. Also i dont have no ballet background since my childhood was crazy and fun so i wasnt really into dancing but now its a huge desire i have)

Hello guys So I'm auditioning for my dance disco competition team. There are only 5 spots and there are going to be a lot of people who are auditioning! this is my first audition so I don't think I will get in but I'll update you! UPDATE: hi guys so this is the day after and like the audition took 3 hours (almost 4) and when I tell you there were a lot of people THERE WHERE A LOT and like I felt like I did good and then we did the dance in like groups and after I had to wait because my group was somewhere in the middle and then they asked some people so I thought that I didn't make it but these people where asked for a different team and then they asked me, and 2 other people to come and said we were the 3 they def wanted on the team SO I MADE IT!!! Hiii update2: so we have had a bout 3 practices and this week 7 new people where told they were the main dancers en the rest is like back up and I am main and there where a lot of people who got a call back in the audition so when I said 3 people we were the ones that caught their eyes firs but like a lot of people passed but I am main so idrc
