When we're low on groceries we tend to eat either a curry (both Thai and Indian inspired) or burrito bowls: we always have grains, beans, canned coconut milk, Thai curry pastes, spices and salsas in the house. One of my Aunties made us a hot dog stir fry all the time growing up. Pretty sure she used some amounts of nuoc mam or soy sauce, oyster sauce, etc, I just don't remember the details. Doubt she would've thought of ketchup 😂
