I make it this way using cooked vanilla pudding. What I do different is I don’t add the bananas because I hate them turning brown, so I add them when served.

I love making banana pudding and banana pudding cheesecakes! I am a small business owner of cheesecakes and I also love using the banana flavoring! It give the pudding a taste out of this world! And when the weather was so hot; I never used bananas. I hate the fact; of them turning brown as soon as the air hits them . I truly refuse to use lemon juice; to keep them from browning.

I like cooked pudding. I put a layer of cookies and banana, then add pudding, I do another layer of cookies and bananas on top of that, then add pudding on top. So it's two layers

The pudding was the first thing to be made and set aside in the fridge for 25 minutes for it to be thick enough to lay on top of the vanilla wafers and then adding cool whip on top to even it out layer by layer this is not the way for it to be done but i guess it is a first time for everything.

how long do you mix it for I admit I forgot the butter but I mix until the milk was hot in the pudding dissolved let it set for overnight Anna pudding never set the milk was still running what did I do wrong besides not adding the butter

After making this for decades, I use the microwave method for the pudding, still tedious because once warm, you have to check and stir every 2 minutes, BUT never burned. I like the way you stacked all of the cookies and bananas first! I usually layer like lasagna 😅. This is MUCH easier once the pudding is completed.
