I haven't ever left a message for you on your KZbin channel but I thought I should give you some kudos on your great tutorials. I am an alcoholic in my third year of recovery. Your tutorials were what kept me sober in my early days just out of rehab and now with three years sober you have no idea how much good you were doing. Thank you for all you do, great job. Thank You, John B.

Hi John, wow...first of all, let me congratulate you on being sober for three years. I can only imagine the struggles you've been through and I'm glad that you have been able to find your way back to the right path and stay on it. You are very welcome and I'm so happy to hear that the videos have been helping you in such a tremendous way. Stay strong and keep going brother!

i guess the amount of cord is wrong, 8ft must to be longer in cm than 4ft
@TheWeaversofEternity5 жыл бұрын
Yes! My mistake. I've corrected the measurements in the description. The cm measurement in the video will be off though. Thank you for pointing that out.

I have an 8” wrist, how would you recommend tweaking the paracord lengths to accommodate this

Does the twelve feet of grey include the length you used to make the core structure? Or is the twelve feet only what you wove to make the bracelet? If it doesn’t include the core structure , how much length do you need for the core structure?

Is there anyway to make this adjustable for a rifle sling?

Made one in coffee brown and beige as accent color. Turned out really good! I made it with knot and loop anyway... I don't like buckles very much...

Correct me if I'm wrong...The amount you show for the gray cord is 4 feet , also the base color for a 4 strand core...after making a 4 strand core I am left with about 8 inches of my core color to weave with on a 7 inch bracelet..... Is that measurement correct?? ...I have made a couple 4 strand cores following your directions without any hick ups. Edit: ...I went back and plugged 365 cm in the converter and it seems maybe you meant 12 feet instead of 4 feet

As far as wrist size goes on buckle styles...what would be a good beginners rule of thumb for how much cord to use..anther awesome vid

Tim, I believe you have the lengths wrong at the beginning of the video. This bracelet has the licorice as the accent, but you have the licorice at the longer length. Shouldn’t the grey be 8ft and the licorice 4ft?
@hughjaynus5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I just figured that out the hard way, too. I ended up trimming the leads at the double cow's hitch, and working a 2nd cord through the knots at the buckle, like the accent color was done, in the video.

Does the twelve feet he lists include the construction of the four core structure? So you need 4 ft for the core and another 8 to weave the bracelet?

I added a ft to each length (5ft grey, 9 ft red) as mines a little longer. After doing the 4 strand core as in your add on video I'm left with a bout 3" past the bottom buckle of the grey cords before i start weaving which is not going to be anywhere near enough. What did i miss here ?
@TheWeaversofEternity5 жыл бұрын
Hey sorry man, I really screwed up the measurements in the video and didn't edit them properly. The right ones are in the description. I apologize for any inconvenience.
@Jay-sd9ye5 жыл бұрын
Yes I had to restart with about 4extra feet with my gray Cord cause the first6 feet wasn't long enough.. I think I went with 9 and 10 feet. Might have done 9&9.i don't remember which one..

Like the look of this one but after making it, it's WAY WAY TO THICK (unwearable). To wide and to thick. Mainly to thick. It would make a good dog collar or harness for animals. But I don't like it. I give it a 1out of 5 for wearability but 4 of 5 for looks.
@fitulus5 жыл бұрын
You don't seem to reply to your followers. Your lengt is wrong on the 4ft cord because it"s more in cm then 8ft on your list. 4ft cannot be more in cm then 4ft in cm. So now nobod knows if your cm's are wrong or ft.
