I have LOTS against designer brands. They are brainwashing people into thinking they are worth $3,000 for a stupid bag. They are scamming everyone.

@TheWeaversofEternityСағат бұрын
Yes... paracord is very nutrient and calorically dense...lol jk

Yo man, when i was making this, the thread keeps twisting do you know how to fix that?
@TheWeaversofEternity20 минут бұрын
hey man, if that's happening it's because you're tying the cobra knots incorrectly. You're probably not keeping the lead strand on the front of the bracelet. Check this short out and it should make everything clear - kzbin.infokGzBtNiS4M4
@Kr0nicDragon7 сағат бұрын
I used to make that stuff as a kid
@nlm1211849 сағат бұрын
One of the biggest mistakes I could urge paracordist not to make would be tying the knots too tight. It make for a softer more workable bracelet. With the loop being too small on your bracelet; that cobra stitch can move up and down the center cord. Its always fun to cinch out the loop and tell people you have to cut the bracelet off to take it off. 😂

Very neat, once you have finished cropped and heat sealed the ends why not cover it with a turks head ?

@bryceneu341322 сағат бұрын
How long did you make the core? You never stated that in the tutorial so I'm a bit lost
@TheWeaversofEternity21 сағат бұрын
The core strand is 3 feet long and I doubled it over on the jig, also the stopper knot temporarily holding the core strands on the jig is tied just about at the end of the strands so I'd say the core is just a bit under 1.5". The length doesn't have to be super precise though as it will just affect the overall size of your wreath

@TheWeaversofEternity thank you so much for your response! I figured that is what you meant so I just finished mine. Turned out awesome. Thanks for such a great tutorial

Since the release of this video the high end keychain price has been reduced by 100$ and now costs just 340$. That's a steal. 🤣 I've got to admit they hide the ends of the paracord pretty well. 🤔

Hi! I think it'd b a very useful video if you weaved a blaze bar belt with Titan paracord (original and XT) for a (levy's) jeans pants? Extra points if buckle is useful (eg. fire starter), sturdy (ferro might snap off by itself?) , without bulging out (thin is good), or scratching wtv it's in front of your pelvis (guitar) - even better. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Would this be the best weave to go about creating letters in the weave pattern? I've been trying to figure out how to create letters or rather an acronym of a name within a paracord weave on a keychain and I don't want to use beads or anything like that, I want it to be all paracord. Any suggestions?
@TheWeaversofEternityКүн бұрын
Hey Jenna! I personally haven't done a video like that, but Paracord Guild has one and I think it's pretty much what you're looking for. Check it out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKmqlHirmMtmpdEsi=w6f8g3WX4Jim2X0M Hope that helps!

I've never spent that much a paracord keychain, OR made one myself, but I did once find one on Amazon for maybe $8(?), which had a Thor's Hammer emblem worked into it. (I could pull my keys out of my pocket and growl, "ASSEMBLE.")

At first I thought maybe it was a typo… like they actually meant $4.40 ….. but nope! These people are nucking futs!!!!! I mean seriously…. WHO PAYS THESE KINDS OF PRICES???? I wish I could be so fortunate to be rich enough to not have to worry about the prices of things I want!
@TheWeaversofEternityКүн бұрын
Nucking futs indeed Holly! I think there is definitely a class of people that just buy expensive things because they associate high prices with it being good, exclusive, or high quality (regardless of if it is or not) and it is what it is. I think it's best not to concern ourselves with what other people are doing most of the time haha

Im so glad that this is NOT the first video of yours, because you have me confirmation on your moral compass, with the intent that your an honest salesmen, not a price gauging prick like others I've seen I remember as well making the box knots with gimp. I've been ask people if they do and they look at me like I'm crazy. For ME,, I'm also looking at the time I make something, in the sense of how quickly it's don but with it also being properly constructed where it doesn't look like a kid smh cause in MY mind, TIME, is money. And I'm broke lol
@TheWeaversofEternityКүн бұрын
The way I like to look at it is that you can always make more money, but you can't make more time, and the time you spend making something is time you can never get back so I will always personally appreciate a gift that someone has made much more than something that was simply bought. So I'd say that time can be worth more than money, depending on the individual. And hey if you're broke, that's just for now, you can always change that situation! 💪

Yikes! $400 for a kids “Friendship Bracelet” fob‼️ A question, do you have a Kindle Paperwhite strap that I can make? I looked at your video list but didn’t find one (I gave up!)…
@TheWeaversofEternityКүн бұрын
I don't have a strap tutorial for something exactly like the Kindle Paperwhite, but if your paper white has a plastic or silicone case on it, my cellphone strap tutorial might work for it kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqPSe56MjLlkosksi=1Wck4P986uurvWyW If you don't have attachment points for the cord, you could always poke/drill some holes in it if you don't mind taking it that far haha. Hope it helps or gives you some ideas!

Just as a side note my wife went to High School with Nicolas Cage (Nicolas Coppola is his real name) and she has her photo on the same page in their year book because her surname started with C. She remembers him as being weird and always wearing a singlet. My claim to paracord fame is I still use a key fob I made from paracord when I was on night shift in the United Nations Headquarters company post on a UN peacekeeping operation way back in 2007.
@TheWeaversofEternityКүн бұрын
Now THAT is so cool! If you couldn't tell already, I'm a huge fan of Nic Cage. Also him always being in a singlet doesn't even surprise me lol. That's also really cool with the keychain you made at the UN, did you by any chance make it in the same blue they use for their logo? That would have been perfect haha

@@TheWeaversofEternity It's in green... army green. It's all I could find. I was on radio monitoring duty so after midnight things would get quiet and I would practice my knots and I also taught some of my friends on the night shift with me how to do splicing and whipping etc. I also put a Turks Head on my rifle so I could easily identify it on the gun rack when we were eating our meals in the mess. I once caught an Officer picking my weapon, by mistake, and when I challenged him he said it was his and I asked him to teach me how to make a Turks Head knot. He hadn't noticed and was very apologetic.
