Majkl shows us in this video how to make the best fried Schnitzel by following a Japanese recipe called Tonkatsu. In this recipe, one can use pork meat (Tonkatsu), or chicken meat (Torikatsu).
In Japan, it is tradition to serve the Schnitzel with a special sauce called Tonkatsu sauce.
Ingredients for Tonkatsu sauce:
120 g ketchup
3 tablespoons Worcesteshire sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon Mirin (Japanese sweet wine - can substitute with another sweet wine)
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
