The hornbill birds are also in peninsular Malaysia. I spotted one near my house many years ago. Ive seen a lot hornbills from videos around Malaysia.

I've only visited the KL birdpark once in mid 1990s when it was newly opened. Back then, there was a Carl's Jr fastfood in the compound and there were few hornbills around the balcony.

There's also a butterfly park not far from the birdpark. There's also a deer park in the KL Perdana Botanical Garden.
