I was put in Pru by my advisor, I am sure it was for commission and it was hopeless despite paying in for years. After a number of years I transferred out into Smart pension where my other pension was. I seems much better.

what changes when you reach 75?

Hi Kevan, thanks for watching! In regards to what was referenced in this episode, turning 75 years old changes how a person's beneficiaries inherit their pension. Currently, if a person passes away before they turn 75 then their pension can be inherited by their beneficiaries tax free. If this occurs after 75, the money a beneficiary receives can be subject to tax. We hope that helps.
