⁠@@hrmsmkgood, LLS. Nobody said to bring a hairdryer to a piece. This is a suggestion to modify and improve a technique. It’s a good and accurate suggestion. You could bring a cordless hair dryer to any place I can think of that you would be working, but a cordless heat gun is my recommendation. Popular way to dry paint has always been a Bic lighter and the spray cans themselves making the traditional flame thrower/torch. Potentially, also, you could use propane or map gas torches (my guess is that: techniques using fire are not a good idea for @hrmsmk to try). Also regular corded tools could be plugged in and used if you had any power within a few hundred feet and extension cords. In addition to these ideas; a power inverter plugged into a car/truck would allow you to run corded hair dryer or heat gun (any 120v devise with low amps). Sorry, I may be wrong, but I interpreted your response in a way that you were LLS (laughing like silly) @ tiffo2872 because he suggested to carry a hair dryer with a cord everywhere you go and throw up a piece. You thought this silly because no place you paint has power outlets. If I misunderstood sorry. At least I listed a few ways to utilize heat in scenarios where your moms hair dryer can’t be plugged in at your knees. As always take knowledge and store it away for when you need or want to use it. If you want to try this technique somewhere and sometime some of the solutions to portable easy cheap heat sources are here. PS……cordless heat gun is a great thing to bring with u if you ever need to quicken the dry time of a piece or portion of a piece

interesting how extreme this new idea is going to be. You can make a golden box/ball, or smaller stickers. This actually worked good, because of the flares you made in the beginning. Serious business 😮 there's actually a gold spray paint used for reproduction antique furniture and other stuff that is really shiny. I forgot the name but I've seen it used in LA on a piece and super shiny like this. The paint is probably expensive though.👍

This is dum, you could of just made the gold section at home by sticking a bunch of that gold material together ahead of time. Then glue that to the wall and paint over it. You wasted paint on the clear and white outlines. You could of also just got gold metallic paint. Sticking that crap on the wall is kinda wack and time consuming also.
