Do you want to have healthy meals for the whole week that’s fast, easy, and tasty?
Then the power 5 salad recipe is the best way to go!
This healthy salad recipe is packed with nutrition while allowing you to be more creative in planning and preparing your meals. The Power 5 salad is colorful, tasty, and most importantly, nutritious!
The goal of the Power 5 salad recipe is simple: To use five ingredients to build a power salad from these categories:
seeds and nuts
beans
vegetables
fruits
greens
Here are some quick tips on how to prepare the Power 5 salad recipe:
1. Must include at least 2 categories (fruits and dried fruits are not optimal to combine)
2. Take one day of the week to prepare vegetables. Shred , chop or slice. Then store in Tupperware-like containers.
3. Let each person make their own salad.
4. Keep meat lite and not every day.
5. Salads don’t have to have a green lettuce base - be creative. Then grab what you want each day as you build.
It’s so easy and simple to make the Power 5 salad! And the best part? You can have fun and be creative with it.
I hope you enjoyed watching this video about the Power 5 salad. Let me know in the comments what you think of it, and I look forward to reading and responding to your comments soon. Catch you in the next one!

Yes, "hold the coffee". Caffeine is a diuretic, causing the body to lose water, which in turn causes faster aging (skin wrinkling), it burns out the adrenal glands, and it dries out the vocal chords .. causing an old "witchy" sounding voice as people age. The reason people "need" to drink coffee is because they are NOT getting any energy from all the dead, lifeless food that they eat. People who eat God's original diet for mankind (seed-bearing plants) .. which are FULL OF LIFE AND ENERGY .. those people bounce out of bed easily early in the mornings without a single sip of coffee, and have lots of sustained energy all day. It's a real shame for all the people who never try it, and do not know what they are missing it on. Blessings to all .. and praying for health to all as well.

@@peacetoall1201 I totally disagree with you. I know plenty including myself and family who drink coffee and we have none of what you're describing at all! I think some things in moderation and if you are drinking tons of it I could see a problem but who put the coffee beans here?

@@seekingtruth1110 .. Do some research .. and try not drinking any coffee for a little while .. and see for yourself. People who are addicted to something will say and do anything to keep their addiction going.

What an amazing way to have salads for several days for the week!! Having them cut and prepped is so genius and it’s those tips that I love because it can seem laborious when it’s not prepped 🙏🏽. Easy to go to!! I love it.

Salvation in Yeshua is #1, keep the commandments is part of working out our salvation. Keeping the commandments without Yeshua is what it means to be legalistic. Thinking you can keep the commandments without the grace Yeshua gave us, at the cross.

I can digest my salads (and foods) so much better when I chop it into small pieces. Chopped salads are more flavorful because more of the surface of the vegetable or fruit is exposed and combines with all the other ingredients.

When I make a Salad - I put so many ingredients in it - I rarely need any dressing. Grapes make for a yummy salad too - after you wash them - put a bunch between 2 plastic covers & run a knife between covers to cut in 1/2 , Rachael Ray passed on that excellent idea. Same w/Black Olives.

Wow, You have an amazing store, where I live we don’t have produce like that. And the organic fruits, and vegetables are so expensive, I can’t afford it. And can’t afford to buy organic ingredients I’ve seen in your pantry, in your other video. Guess I will have to eat regular pesticide filled vegetables, and fruits. 😩

Just wash them well. You will still be giving your body a lot of nutrients.

Wow, thank you for these wonderful ideas! I would've never thought to eat some of these in a salad such as raw sweet potato. I'm assuming you meant to chop and eat it raw in a salad?
