This origami model is not that difficult to fold, but you literally need to have a very particular point of view in order to see the illusion!😅

@JeremyShafer, My son is 8 and is doing Origami Magic at his school talent show. He wants to make a Magic hat and do some origami magic. Would you post more options for him? He likes the hexagon you did a while back. He would LOVE it if you would say "HI Tyler this is for you!" He would love a shout out as he watches you ALLLL THE TIME!! Thank You!!
@jeremyshaferorigami2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tyler, this is for you... Fold the two interlocking rings ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJWUqapun6Zsh7M ) out of a square of Tyvek and use Velcro to keep the loops together. It's really is a great magic effect... You show that it is two interlocking rings and you ask how many sheets of paper are they? and then say, "On the count of 3 every say everyone say BOOM!" and pull it apart to reveal it is indeed one piece! The Pako Pako ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6WsY5RqnNdprMk ) is also very magical and I use it regularly in my origami act. I call it the "Color Spring" and I say, "Can you blow the color off?" and as they blow, I pull the model away as I twist it, so it looks like they blew off the rainbow themselves. The Spring Into Action ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWO4YqZ7nbiBnq8 ) is also a magical model that I use in my origami show: I call it "The Boing Boing" and I say, "in order to activated it you need to blow on it." When they blow on it, I descreetly squeeze it repeatedly by just moving the finger that is behind the model to make it deploy. Have you folded my Magic Wand?: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpuyZphtgb-tg68 The eagle and Pyramid are also rather magical. Good luck with your magic show!

@jeremyshaferorigami2 жыл бұрын
I do offer Zoom origami tutoring sessions. Here is where to book one: www.calendly.com/jeremyshafer During the sessions most often the student will tell me what they would like us to try to design, and I walk them through steps of designing the model explaining as we go my thought processes.
