Thank you John, I finally had time to make one and the old 1909 topos here in Idaho look cool. This turned out great. Had to tweak the shades and net line. Also added a cool paper edge effect from another style to the paper feature. Made it look a little crusty on the edge. Very cool. Thanks again for everything you do.

I don't have the time tight this moment to watch this series, but I'm really excited to see your tutorial. I have seen these types of 3D maps on reddit, but typically done with blender. I'm really keen on seeing how it's done with ArcPro. Your tutorials have really changed my attitude to ArcPro. It's too bad that most companies / public organizations in my area haven't made the switch yet. Working with ArcPro for my school/personal work and then moving back to ArcMap 10 for seasonal internships sucks. Lol.

Why did you search the coordinate manually? You can use right click and insert x and y, does it not?
@JohnNelsonMaps3 жыл бұрын
Yes true, except the format would be decimal degrees, and the reference is degrees/minutes/seconds, so this was easiest.

Hi, the tutorials are excellent to learn how operate the complexity of the designs of maps. I test one map on Chile (where I From) and it worked, i make a second try in Italy, Rome city especifically (mi interest in the use of GIS is the historical use, I am Phd in ancient history) but i can't cut the raster, the hillshade couldn't operate and the raster calculator either... I supose the problem was the coordinate system, how know what is the best choice o the correct choise?

ah, glad you tried it out! i'd love to see your Chile map. not sure what's going on with the Rome area DEM clipping.

really straining when people speaking permanently enthusiastic (why?) when just trying follow a tutorial and already sort out annoying background music.

if you don't like enthusiasm and annoying background music, this might not be the channel for you.
