I have seen tomato paste get made and it is hard work, but can change an entire dish with just a dollop. Very informative.

When boiling the tomatoes cut it into halves and cover the pot when boiling without adding a single water. The tomatoes will secret out water by itself. You can drain the water with a filter. you will be surprised at the quantity of water that will come out and the amount of cooking time you are saving. You can now return the semi boiled tomatoes inside pot and reboil with the other pepper
