Spent a few weeks in the UK years ago. HE NAILED IT!

Lee, from my limited experience (only 3 weeks touring the UK,) the only differences are: English sausages are more finely ground, and are smaller. England and the UK (England, Scotland and Wales) are an Island, with quasi-limited resources and things are pricey, even though they have a very long underwater tunnel connecting them to the mainland of Western Europe. They use mostly cherry toms, cut in half, making sure that the flat/cut side is down flat on the surface of the HOT pan to slightly crisp up the edges, sauteed in a little butter, the dome of each piece steams the toms, and the contact sides are crispy on the cut/flat edges. They use butter for that effect/process, and cook the toms and the eggs in the same pan, timed to when the eggs will be ready. Toms slightly crisp on the flat edges, add the eggs, a touch of water, cover and reduce or turn off the flame to steam the eggs. The eggs and the toms are cooked in the same pan separate from the meat for distinction of flavours from the sausage. Would have used two pans? You can also kick it up to a semi-healthy level. Saute the toms in butter until almost crispy on the cut edges, drop the eggs in a bowl (without the eggshells, aka mis en place. Cannot see small eggshell pieces when the white of an egg instantly turns white, right?, lol), add a touch of water to steam with the lid on. Turn off the heat - yes, I caught that one, too... lol. Play nicely, ok? You made several disrespectful faces and body gestures behind his back, all the while you were supposed to be a professional? Not nice. Did you not think that he would watch the vid and read the comments, tell his friends about it, so that they would see your antics, as well? ⚘ 😪 ⚘ Honour this man. He loves your mom. Enough said, my friend. I have a step-dad of over 50 years. Retired Sergeant in the U.S. Military. Mom had 4 kids, and they had another one between them. Step-parents are an amazing blessing, and you dishonored him on a global platform. Enough said. Take II, in movie-speak?? Either way, you can kick this up in to a semi-healthy range (my passion - health, fitness and nutrition for the body) with just a few tweaks, right? Did you feel the blood sludge and lethargy later in the day? That's your body talking. It"s saying... not the best move, dude, lol! Anyway, we can all take an unhealthy recipe and ALWAYS kick it up with a more healthy HARD RIGHT slant, right? Love you, sweetheart, from your fellow Major Old Lady and major foodie, aka Mom, somewhere near Seattle and around the World. P.S. We need to see your version of the infamous English Breakfast on an upcoming vid, ok? Might want to Google a few dozen YT recipes, right? 🤗 Stay safe, and we'll see you on the next one...

Not to worry... the faces and gestures were planned ahead of time by both of us, all made in jest and for comical purposes. He was in no way disrespected or made fun of.

@@LloydRittiner Thank you, Sir, for the explanation. 👍 Glad to know. Step parents have a hard row to hoe, even if the kids are all raised and out of the house. The biological parent automatically loves their child(ren). The step parent has to learn to love them as deeply, with Agape Love. Always understanding, always loving, always forgiving, like God's love for us. Cute joke? Picture a cartoon/house boarded up, plywood, 2 x 4s across the windows and doors, 6' tall chain-link fence with razor wire on top, on the property line, etc... lol. "We childproofed our house, but they keep getting back in." Glad to know that the humour was part of the vlog. He seems like a jewel... and he obviously loves your momma. Actually watched this vid twice - first time ever. Still chuckling at your antics, you adorable bwat. (Would say little bwat, but that wouldn't apply... 🙃.) We need to have a little loving bwat in all of us, right? Love, hugs and prayers to you and yours, sweetheart. Hug them like you mean it! I will never forget the first time my son picked me up and spun me around. Holy Guacamole! Scared the - yes, that - out of me! He was 17, now 25 and an Active Duty Soldier. We never know when it might be the last time to truly say I love you, you are important to me, you are awesome, you rock - my story- sticking to it!, right? I never just say "Love ya". I say "I love you so much", my friend. Again, you rock, my story, sticking to it, sweetheart. Love and prayers, always, to you and yours. Always. ⚘ 🙏 ❤ 🙏 ⚘
