How to Make Traditional Spruce Gum from Spruce Tree Resin

In this video, we go on an adventure in the mountains of Montana to harvest spruce tree resin to make spruce gum for the first time. Spruce gum was a popular gum that our ancestors savored. We wanted to rediscover this old tradition and learn how to make our own gum from foraged spruce resin. Add mint leave while warming. You can heat it on the stove top on just lowest heat/warm setting as well
