@@EDMTips I am for a long time here. Lots of things are repeated but its good to repeat once again. Great that You explain characteristics of each music genre. Cool idea with pitch downs in breakdown.. Stabs in intro also nice. Your pattern of music production is organized perfectly. Also use the same way. Works great.I enjoy your teaching a lot. I'm going to try to push my luck and offer you 3 titles that I would love to see you deconstruct/reconstruct to unlock all their secrets: Armin Van Buuren 'Full Focus", Gaia "J'ai envie de toi" (Gaia is of course Armin Van Buuren), and Purple Mood "One night in Tokyo (Above & Beyond Remix)". No offense, but I think the best way to save Trance music and the whole music industry is to avoid following what others do by making music that's sounds like them. The industry has became lame because of this and all charts are sounding exactly the same. So when Armin makes techno or decides Techno sounds are the next thing, then everyone has to follow it? Can't we just live the music as we imagine it? Even labels are killing the industry by signing the exact same patterns instead being open minded, and please do not tell me that "signing" is an investment for them, most of labels out there put peanuts in promo and they expect the artists to have high followers to get exposure. Just let music flow we don't need to know how Armin or Ruben de Ronde make their sounds, its their signature, let's live with ours.

Even Van Gogh started painting in classic ways until he found his own voice at painting... But feel free to dont do anything of what it is shown here and do your best on your own... Best of luck with that for not ending in a different genre...
@vendetta79304 күн бұрын
@ Do genres really matter today? Look at Trance it doesn't even sound Trance anymore, it's a blend of Techno and Trance. Even Beatport Top 100 Trance charts is having Techno tracks in it and this why? Because someone decided that Techno is the next big thing, the same way it happened before with PsyTrance. So they bomb us with Techno sounding tracks for a while before that same guy decides something else is the next big thing. Even labels also follow the same mindset, I barely see those "BIG" labels today proposing something else, they follow but don't lead anymore. What I am saying, is that nor Armin or anyone else should become a reference when it comes to Trance music, or any other "genre"

I think these 'How to...' videos are so useful when you are starting out. Let's face it you never ran first as a child. You first learned to stand, then walk with a helping hand, unaided then ran a mock. I totally get your sentiment and I'm getting close to running loose but until then I really appreciate these helping hand tutorials.
