Thanks a lot ma, God bless...this was really helpful, but the 1 inches you went inwards by on the front neck depth wasnt correct, it was supposed to be 2 inches, that stressed me, i had to loose it and cut 2inches before the interface was able to lay. I think that should be corrected for others that would be trying out this style. All the same thanks alot.

I think the 5" she cut out for the collar width was supposed to be folded...making it 2.5...the half in the 2.5 is sewing allowance. So it still makes 2" at the end of the day.

How many yards is on each fold ma. is it 2 yards for back and 2 yards for the front too

From 6 yards of ankara, I fold d fabric selvage to selvage and I cut out length 64" for the front bodies, I fold again and I cut out another length 64" for the back bodice. The remaining fabric from d 6yards of ankara is 2yards plus 9". Which means I used amost 4yards of ankara.

I'm getting challenges from where the ashoke meets down, you told us we add 0.5 on the measurements but you did 5 inches yet we the bodice has 2 inches, my dress isn't coming out I need some help please

Hi yes there is an error in the cutting. She was meant to cut the neckline 2.5 not 5 inches considering that she removed 1 inch from the neckline. But if she had removed 2inches then she would cut out 2,5 for the neckline. It's a slight error.

You are getting yourself confused ,is 5inches because she. Still have to fold it to get 2.5 that she talked about,the wides is 2inches and she said add half inch which she did,making it 5inches,once she fold it now,it will be 2.5inches

Beautiful ma. But u measured d opening by 2inches, u added half inch of sewing. When cutting d ashoke, u measured 5inches , which is wider than d 2inches of neck. How did u manage to fuss it in. Cos I tried it, it was too much. Doing have to increase d opening by 2inches? I don't know if u understand my question. D down part where u measured 1 inches to connect to d neck line
