Am past 60 and still have my West Indian Reader. The brown copy. We don't popularly do pumpkin talkari in Jamaica but fell in love with it after Trinidad. Where is the bus shut recipe. That's what I got. I smell that though. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Nuff Luv!

You two have such great on screen chemistry. I definitely love seeing y’all cook together. Awesome vibes. Trying this today. Keep bringing the culinary goodness and good vibes 😎 👌🏻 Oh yeah….NOTHING is better than the West Indian Reader series of books when learning or teaching reading! Still to this day!

Don't even get my dad started on West Indian reader. He was upset because by the time I was in primary school, they weren't using WI reader but Republic Reader. He couldn't stand Boyo and Carla lol Looks delicious as always!

I remember reading Boyo and Clara. My mum asked me to read the book and she started the sentence for me and she said “Boyo and?” And my smartass decided to guess and I said “Boyo and Girlo” 😂😂😂
