Great way to smash them is having parchment paper between the bowl and tostone. Won't stick at all, and paper peels right off. Super fast and easy : )

It is easier to peel a platano Verde under a cold water tab. It relisieases the starch. You can buy once fried tostones in most Cuban markets. Soak them in heavy salt water before you fry them. I'm a legit Cuban born on the island. Tu Amigo Robert Rojas

Before u peel the plantain put them under warm water and they’ll peel very smoothly & another tip when cutting them cut them into thinner slices

just a little tip, salt anything right after it comes out of the oil...it will stick better with the residual oil. Of course Zach probably salted them off-camera.

Miss Kelly...I use to raise chickens....nothing like fresh organic yard bird....and Hen fruit! If the shells of your Hen fruit is not very thick...you can buy a bag of ground oyster shells...and keep it out hmfor your hens...they eat it and it makes the Hen fruit shells thick and pretty!!!!

Nice shooten Ms Kelly on the bluefins. I remember that vid I think. Butterball the right name for that chubby guy. I really enjoy the cooking spots but I'm jumping off after skimming to the end. I don't yet have the patience to attempt that kind of cooking but love to watch. Maybe after some remodeling is done I'll get into it. My best pal anounces two things - "I'm not good with tools ...
