The best tasted black tea ever. Usually prepared different than other tea. The idea is simple. They make highly concentrated tea in one teapot with added boiled water. The other teapot is just boiled water. U just add half tea and half water in a cup based on ur preference of strong vs light tea.

@Galactic Minds We use the main pot to boil the water and heat the upper part while brewing the black tea. We start with boiling the water then pour some on the one above. The water above Turkish Tea Pot should be around 85°C /185°F. After we add the tea on the top of the water in the pot above. Meanwhile the water below should barely be boiling not to overheat the pot above . We wait for 15 minutes for the tea to gently brew.

@TravelFood4all3 жыл бұрын
Hi Starter; The amont of water changes according to your tea pot. One litre of water has 33.81 ounces, so you're looking at nearly 34 grams of tea. So, a 1 litre teapot will need around 4 teaspoons of tea for a hot brew. Enjoy it.:))

Hello, Yes you can use ceramic pot in top of stainless steel. You should also know these informations about material of tea pots: Ceramic clay tea pot is fired at low temperatures.Choosing the tea pot ceramic/porcelain or stainless depends on personal preference and the type of tea you drink. Ceramic pots are suitable for any tea that you are looking to brew at a stable and consistent temperature. Every tea tool has a profound influence on the flavor and aroma of finished tea. Choosing the right material can help ensure that your pot will be suited to your favorite teas. Enjoy for your black tea:)) Thank you!

Hi Barbara; Actually yes it contains caffeine in it, but the caffeine content in black tea is more than that green tea but less than coffee. It is bacause of the longer tea is steeped in water.The caffeine levels in black tea is depending on the type of black tea and how it's brewed. Maybe you can drink in a lightly, with sugar or with a slice of lemon.

Black tea is good yet I am not sure what type of it is used for Turkish tea for the most part and where it is from
@TravelFood4all7 жыл бұрын
Hi JB 6000, Turkish black tea goes through 5 stages after being collected.They are withering, curling, fermentation, drying, sorting and packing. Tea leaves are darkened by fermentation process. Oxidation process gives the desired color, whiteness, brightness, odor and aroma in the Turkish black tea. Turkish tea comes from the province of Rize in Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey.

My guess is turkey was a poor country when it was first introduced and tea was hard to find. So they did this to make the maximum out of it. There is a saying " tea like rabbits blood" in turkish to specify good tea. Why say that when the original color of tea is already red. Old people still has the habit of drinking tea with too much water (yellow colored tea). I have no evidence to suppport it, just my guess.

@TravelFood4all3 жыл бұрын
Hi Barbara; The French Press is commonly used for brewing fresh coffee, however it can be also used to brew tea. If you have a French press and love black tea, try using your French press coffee maker to steep the tea leaves . Simple steps for brewing tea with a French press: 1.Bring water to a boil 2.While the water is boiling, add your desired amount of dry tea leaves to the French press carafe. 3.Pour the boiling water over the dry tea leaves. 4.Steep the black tea leaves for the desired strength of the brew. 5.Tea takes less time to steep in the French press than coffee. 6.Press down on the plunger to use the filter as a sieve to separate the tea leaves from the liquid.That's all.Enjoy it.:))
